I am a

We are a medium sized accountancy practice with eight partners and around 75 staff, ranging from apprentices to highly experienced managers. Our clients describe us as friendly and professional and these are qualities that are important to us. We are regularly recruiting for staff in both our St Albans and Central London offices and whether you are just starting out or looking for the next step in your career, we can offer you a varied and interesting opportunity.

Personal Development

The firm has a deeply embedded culture of continuous improvement and this culture extends to its attitude to developing staff and retaining employees who feel involved and empowered to develop and improve themselves. We offer regular in house technical training for our professional staff and specific training needs are identified and discussed through bi-annual performance discussions.

If you are looking to work towards a professional qualification then the firm offer study support (if the qualification is relevant to your role) or if you identify one-off training needs then we will support you in looking at the most effective approach to developing your knowledge. Whatever your position, we recognise that it is essential to the success of the firm to continually develop the skills and knowledge of our people.

Client Networking and the Wider Community

We host numerous events throughout the year raising funds for local charities through golf days, lunch clubs, quiz nights and networking events. We are also proud to be a founding memberof the corporate patron programme for the Rennie Grove House Hospice Care. Alongside this we work closely with SportsAid raising funds by holding networking events to showcase young athletes and their achievements, and we are currently sponsoring two up and coming athletes.

One of our partners is a trustee for the OLLIE Foundation which provides training programmes on suicide intervention a fairly new charity but one that is growing in presence in St Albans and Harpenden. Annually the firm raises in excess of £20,000 for local worthwhile charities and staff are supported and encouraged to participate in our local fundraising events.
